Havana, Cuba

Change came to the political landscape of the Americas on July 20, 2015, when Cuba and the United States restored diplomatic relations. In 1961, the American embassy in Havana was shuttered, but the U.S. maintained ownership. To block the view of the building from the malacone, the government of Cuba planted a forest of Cuban flags.
