Adelaide, South Australia, Australia

In the middle of Adelaide's Light Square is not a light but a theodolite. It stands atop the grave of Col. William Light, the British Surveyor-General of South Australia. He selected the site of Adelaide and laid out the city on a grid with five squares. Find a map of Adelaide and compare it to Philadelphia. [2011]
