Even though the sun is low on the horizon and snow is snuggling into rocky crevices for another cold night, the Portland Head Light just glows with an inviting metallic warmth. Dozens of lighthouses dot the coast of Maine, but this is one of the most photographed. Need you ask why? [1987]
