The Bulwer Island Lighthouse got a second lease on life when it was moved to the Queensland Maritime Museum in 1983. When structures are moved, history divides from geography, and authenticity is lost. Bulwer's original home, however, was not far away. It was an island at the mouth of the Brisbane River. [2006]
